Give and Get

Last January we learned about Disney's Give and Get Program.
We signed up to help Habitat for Humanity by donating cans.
In just a few days we were able to collect over 400 cans...not our own supply.
The boys sorted piles of 50 in the backyard and 10 months later...
...We cashed in our free Disney tickets.
Don't worry about Disneyland though...they got our money anyway. ;)
We have now made several trips to Disneyland and it is
bittersweet to watch the interest level change through the years.
The fiirst time...the kids loved
the merry go round, It's a Small World and seeing Mickey.
The second time they loved everything in Toontown and the shows.
The third time they were anxious to meet
height requirements on whatever they could.
This time our wee ones have grown up and met requirements on all rides so
their quest was to ride EVERYTHING that was fast, scary, or upside down.
 No interest in Toon Town,
No interest in character autographs,
No interest in shows.
I fear next time we will be splitting up and meeting for dinner.
STOP THE GROWTH!!!
