Aidan was recently in his grade level spelling bee. We didn't bring the camera into the room because there is enough pressure with the large audience. Our favorite moments were when he got the word "acre" and the crowd quietly gasped. He didn't hesitate at all and spelled it correctly. After about round 6, Ashton turned to us and said, "Aidan is on a roll!" Then came "amendment". His roll ended. He was a good sport and Ashton sat next to him gently rubbing his back until the end of the bee. Good job, Aidan!
I think I would spell acre wrong if someone asked me! :(
